ministry of shortcuts

The Ministry of Shortcuts is the unlikely collaboration of Pieter Post, a streetwise hustler, and Marcel Ott, a classically trained actor. The combination of theatre, variety and slapstick led to a new form of street theatre that can only be described as weird, wicked and wonderful.

This extremely clumsy duo reinvented three classical comedy routines and reduced them to seven minute shortcuts. Performing in what can be called "the smallest theatre in the world" they repeat each routine in a continuous thirty minute show.
But they have one more act in store for you, the ultimate shortcut and the mother of all comedy routines. This separate and totally outrageous ten minute finally involves a canon and a 1000 ping pong balls.

The last shortcut is a lesson in comedy and a peek into the mad world of The Ministry of Shortcuts.
